I‘ve created this page because I want to make a difference to the lives of sick kids.

The Good Friday Appeal relies on the support of the community to raise funds to ensure that The Royal Children's Hospital is able to continue to provide world class care to patients and their families. From 2022 to 2023 at The Royal Children's Hospital: 90,260 patients presented to the Emergency Department, 50,345 children and young people were admitted to a ward, 407,563 children and young people attended an outpatient appointment, and 14,963 patients underwent surgery. We are back for 2024!

Sunday 10th Mar

Last year Charlie raised over $1300 for the RCH Good Friday Appeal. We were absolutely blown away by the support and generosity of our family, friends and members of our community. We are back again for 2024 with the hope of raising much needed funds for RCH which has supported Charlie since birth.

Charlie was born with a Port Wine Stain capillary malformation on the left midline of his face effecting the skin and gum areas. Without treatment, complications such as thickening, darkening and the occurrence of blebs is likely to develop with age. Charlie has had nine laser treatments so far and we are seeing improved clearance each time. We are absolutely in awe of Charlie's resilience and ability to bounce back so quickly! We are thankful that Charlie has access to medical experts and equipment that is world class.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated and contributed to improving the future health outcomes of children like Charlie. Every donation counts and goes a long way to making access possible.
