Thursday 5th Mar This year I was asked, What are you doing for Good Friday.... Well, I normally go to a Good Friday Appeal event to donate and help where I can,but this year, it's different. I now run a market, and it was suggested, why don't I hold a Good Friday Appeal Event myself.So, Here I am, organising my 1st every Event!
This year, GV Health will be receiving money to help children when they need it most, in Emergency. Funds raised will help towards funding a Paediatric Advanced Life Support Education Program for staff, a specially trained Paediatric Nurse Practitioner to be in the Emergency Department as well as funding towards vein finders. GV Health will also be able to purchase new world leading equipment for paediatric care with the purchase of 6 new fit for purpose cots and a stradiometer for children with Asthma, will further support safe and high quality of care for children and young people at GV Health.
If this equipment was available 30yrs ago when my son had his 1st near death experience with Croup as a 1yr old, his treatment and care would have been much different back then, and not as scary as it was.
