We are back for 2025

What is fast becoming an annual Wilms Easter tradition, we are back in 2025 raising much needed funds this Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children's Hospital. For the last two years our friends and family have donated generously and with their support, we have managed to raise just over $2600. 

Charlie's Story 

In 2022, Charlie was born with a Port Wine Stain capillary malformation on the left midline of his face affecting his skin and gums. Without treatment, complications such as thickening, darkening and the occurrence of blebs are likely to develop with age. Charlie has had 12 laser treatments so far and we are seeing improved clearance each time. Now that Charlie is 3, his next laser treatment will be performed under GA and will enable Charlie's doctors to treat all of his birthmark more thoroughly. All of which could not be possible without the support and fundraising of people like yourself.

Each time we visit RCH the doctors and nurses always make comment on how resilient  Charlie is. As his parents, we could not be more proud of him and are so thankful for the access we have to world class experts and medical equipment. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated and contributed to improving the future health outcomes of children like Charlie. Every donation counts and goes a long way to making access possible.
