The Royal Children's Hospital,Devenish and Dookie has played a large part of my wife and myself lives and now us a perfect time to do a run. From Devenish to Dookie as part of the Good Friday Appeal.

I‘ve created this page because I want to make a difference to the lives of sick kids.

The Good Friday Appeal relies on the support of the community to raise funds to ensure that The Royal Children's Hospital is able to continue to provide world class care to patients and their families. From 2022 to 2023 at The Royal Children's Hospital: 90,260 patients presented to the Emergency Department, 50,345 children and young people were admitted to a ward, 407,563 children and young people attended an outpatient appointment, and 14,963 patients underwent surgery. So please help by giving whatever you are able to this fundraiser and help spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family and networks. Thank you for your generosity, it means a lot!

22km between Devenish and Dookie

Monday 26th Feb

Many people may have driven from Devenish to Dookie, but who has ran the 22km distance. this is my plan on Good Friday, If I am feeling good I might even go past Dookie College to make it closer to 30km.

Why you may ask? Well 37 years ago I start my degree at Dookie College and since then I have found a new home in the North East of Victoria. Playing 200 AFL games for Devenish, over 80 with Dookie Untied, Played Cricket for Dookie College and Devenish Goormabat, meeting my wife Jacqui at Dookie College building our first home between Devenish and Dookie. So now it is time to do something that I don't think anyone has done before.
