Sophia’s Story
Thursday 19th Feb At just 9 years old, I faced my third open-heart surgery at RCH, due to a rare congenital heart disease, a challenging reality no child should have to grow up with.Thanks to the incredible doctors and nurses, I not only survived, but was given the opportunity to live a full and healthy life.
Thirteen years later, I'm giving back to honor the team who gave me a future. Every dollar we raise directly impacts children’s lives, helping provide lifesaving treatment, advanced technology, and continue to provide the same compassionate care.
Your support doesn’t just change outcomes... it changes futures. I’m 22 now and studying nursing to be exactly like the nurses that were by my side a decade ago.
