I'm giving it my all to raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal this year. Why? So The Royal Children's Hospital can continue to provide the world-class care to seriously sick children and their families.

Please give generously. I've set a goal to raise as many funds as possible because this is our chance to make a brighter future for all kids.

Every dollar you give will help fund state-of-the-art equipment, groundbreaking research, staff training and patient care.

There have been SO MANY kids who have had life-saving care at The 
Royal Children's Hospital. I need your help to make sure that kids can keep getting that special care this year, and the next… and the next.

The Good Friday Appeal has been raising funds for sick kids and their families at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) for 95 years.

Through the generosity of the community, the RCH continues to deliver world‑class, comprehensive care.

Every dollar donated supports:

  • Ground‑breaking research
  • State‑of‑the‑art equipment
  • Training and unique patient‑centred care programs

In just one year (2024–2025), hundreds of thousands of kids were cared for:

  • 85,415 appointments for urgent and essential care in the Emergency Department
  • 53,450 admissions to a ward, where children and young people received expert, compassionate care
  • 15,106 surgeries, paving the way for brighter futures
  • An incredible 456,000 outpatients seen — that’s an average of 1,250 appointments a day

🎄 Christmas Minis Donation Update – With Love, Maisie 🎄

Thank you so much to the families who have booked in for our Christmas Mini Sessions so far! It’s been such a joy capturing these festive moments and seeing the little ones light up in front of the camera.

For each session, $5 is donated directly to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, and thanks to your support, those donations are already adding up. Every contribution — big or small — truly helps make a difference for families receiving care at the RCH.

I’ll continue to update this space as more sessions are booked and donations grow.

We Did It!

Saturday 25th Oct

And just like that… we did it!
We have officially passed our fundraising goal of $1,000! Thank you to every beautiful family, friend, and community member who helped us reach this milestone. We are continuing to fundraise, because every dollar truly makes a difference to sick kids like our Maisie.

Since turning one, Maisie has attended 109 medical appointments and procedures, and by next week that number will be 113. The Royal Children’s Hospital has become her safe space—but that doesn’t mean it has been easy. The work funded by the Good Friday Appeal provides not only world-class medical care, but also comfort, compassion, and support to families going through some of the most traumatic and challenging times of their lives. It gives children—some facing battles bigger than most adults will ever know—a chance at a healthy and happy future.

Maisie has had more blood tests and MRIs in her four years of life (with her fourth MRI scheduled for January) than Hayden and I have had combined. She has spent 160 hours sitting in the car travelling to and from the hospital and approximately 25 hours waiting in waiting rooms. And she is just one of millions of children and families who have walked this path over the years.

We are so incredibly grateful for your support. Together, we are helping make a difference—not just for Maisie, but for every child who needs the Royal Children’s Hospital to be there in their darkest moments.
