Kruze 4 Kids

Good Friday Appeal 2025

Kruze for Kids was the brainchild of Bradley Radclyffe. For quite a number of years Bradley had always spoke about wanting to organise an event to raise funds for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal and in December of 2011 the talking had stopped and he knew what needed to be done to make this a reality. The Royal Children's Hospital is a cause that was close to Bradley's heart. As a 7-year-old, Bradley was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and spent quite a considerable amount of his younger childhood years as a patient, including nearly losing his life a couple of times. He had learnt first-hand of the incredible work that they do. In his time there he also saw many other children with all sorts of different illnesses and injuries and felt that by raising funds and donating it to the Hospital, you are providing help to all children and not just one specific group. If all donations raised can go to new research and equipment then this may make a child's life easier, and this would be the best possible outcome. Over the years, Bradley had suffered from his own health complications but never gave up, losing a few toes part of his feet and most of his eyesight, with some help the Royal Children's Hospital can continue to provide excellent standards of care and be up to date with new technologies and treatments for all children, then hopefully not only will their quality of life improve as they grow but complications later in life won't have such a dramatic impact. Why an event focussed around cars?? Bradley had a passion for all things motorsport and that had started at an early age with his father Alan, Bradley wanted to show people that it was still possible to be passionate about Cars, Trucks and Bikes and not to be labelled. It is a great atmosphere for families to get together and share their love of transport whatever it may be. You are able to walk around and share the experiences, the passion and reminisce with other enthusiasts, everyone is just there to have a great day. This event is not just for any one type of vehicle everyone is welcome. It is also important to remember that this event isn't just a car show, but also a family day out with market stalls, raffles, auctions, live music you are always sure to find something there for everybody. Sadly, Bradley passed away in January 2020 but the family and team will keep his legacy going. Feel free to check out our WEB page at WWW.Kruze4Kids.com or phone Alan on 0418336071or Paul on 0419530652 for more information. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, companies that have supported us with donations (unfortunately too many to mention them all) and everyone who has attended our events, without you we would not have been able to raise $42,500.00 last year for such a great worthwhile cause. Look forward to seeing you at the 2025 event. Kruze 4 Kids Team

I‘ve created this page because I want to make a difference to the lives of sick kids.
