Good Friday Appeal 2025

Give for the kids!

Join me for the Good Friday Appeal.

Will you help me and do something really GOOD for sick kids?

I'm giving it my all to raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal this year. Why? So The Royal Children's Hospital can continue to provide the world-class care to seriously sick children and their families.

Please give generously. I've set a goal to raise as many funds as possible because this is our chance to make a brighter future for all kids.

Every dollar you give will help fund state-of-the-art equipment, groundbreaking research, staff training and patient care.

There have been SO MANY kids who have had life-saving care at The
Royal Children's Hospital. I need your help to make sure that kids can keep getting that special care this year, and the next… and the next.

I need your support to reach my fundraising goal and to help as many sick kids and their families as possible, please donate today.

I‘ve created this page because I want to make a difference to the lives of sick kids.

The Good Friday Appeal relies on the support of the community to raise funds to ensure that The Royal Children's Hospital is able to continue to provide world class care to patients and their families. From 2022 to 2023 at The Royal Children's Hospital: 90,260 patients presented to the Emergency Department, 50,345 children and young people were admitted to a ward, 407,563 children and young people attended an outpatient appointment, and 14,963 patients underwent surgery. So please help by giving whatever you are able to this fundraiser and help spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family and networks. Thank you for your generosity, it means a lot!

My Updates

I’ve created this page to help support the hospital after all they have done for Elijah x

Tuesday 18th Feb
Elijah has spent 100 plus days in the children’s hospital undertaking 2 open heart surgeries within his first 6 months of life. We visit them regularly for out patient appointments for cardiology, respiratory and optometrist. He was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea which the team provided the Cpap machine and everything and regularly monitor him if he needs any changes. While home we are part of the royal Children’s care hub which provides us with a nurse we can contact to help with appointments and coordinate his care with all the specialist or if we need any assistance. I recently contacted them as I noticed Elijah having spasms when he woke and they were able to get us in quite quickly for an EEG which confirmed infantile spasms and treatment under the neurologist was started immediately.  The Royal Children’s Hospital has been amazing since Elijah was born offering life saving treatment for him and they are so supportive and caring and without them there is no way Elijah would be here and thriving after all he has been through. He has Down syndrome and they treat him as a typical child unless something is going on that is relevant to his t21. I can’t thank them enough from the head surgeons all the way to the volunteers who will be an ear to listen or ward grandmas to cuddle your child if you can’t be there. We are so lucky to have this on our door step world class health system that can change your child’s life.
