Giving Back to Those Who Gave Us So Much
Wednesday 25th MarThis year, I’m taking part in something really special, and I wanted to share a little bit about why it means so much to me.
The Good Friday Appeal is an incredible cause that supports The Royal Children’s Hospital, helping provide life saving care, equipment, and research for kids and their families. But for me, this isn’t just something I’ve seen from the outside, it’s something that has personally impacted my family.
My nephew was born with a rare genetic condition, and because of that, he has spent a lot of time in and out of hospital. As you can imagine, those moments can be incredibly tough for both him and our whole family. During those times, the support, care, and dedication from the hospital staff have been nothing short of amazing.
This fundraiser is my way of saying thank you, to every nurse, doctor, and staff member who has cared for him and continues to support families just like ours every single day. The work they do truly changes lives.
To get involved, I’ll be participating in the Kids Fun Run this Sunday, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of something that gives back in such a meaningful way. 🏃♀️
Every dollar raised goes towards helping kids receive the care they need, when they need it most. If you’re able to donate or support in any way, it would mean so much, not just to me, but to so many families who rely on this incredible hospital.
