I’m walking 25km to help make a difference to the lives of sick children

I'm participating in the iCAN Challenge 2025!

On Tuesday the 1st of April, Elisabeth Murdoch College, Langwarrin Primary School, Woodlands Primary School, Langwarrin Park Primary School and Pearcedale Primary School will be holding an amazing school community event with participants walking either 25km or 50km in one day between St Kilda and Frankston. The walk will be along the beach the entire way and we will finish with the last few steps across the finish line celebrated by family, friends and the school community. To participate each individual has the goal of raising $500 for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. As a community we are hoping to raise $200,000.

The Good Friday Appeal relies on the support of the community to raise funds to ensure that The Royal Children's Hospital is able to continue to provide world class care to patients and their families. In 2023, The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) continued to provide world class care for sick kids and their families. In that time, over 90,000patients presented to the emergency department, nearly 15,000 surgeries were performed, over 50,000 children were admitted to the wards, with nearly 530,000outpatient or telehealth appointments made. The RCH is committed helping kids live their best possible lives and reach their potential. So please help by giving whatever you are able to this fundraiser and help spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family and networks.
