Hello!! We are Ellie Williams and Coco Johnson.
We have been a part of the Good Friday Appeal since 2024. We have raised over $15,000
The Good Friday Appeal is an annual charity event running since 1931, it raises funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
The Good Friday Appeal is a wonderful, fun, and meaningful experience. For the past 2 years we have completed the Run for Kids. In doing so we have committed to raising awareness of the work for the brilliant teams at The Royal Children’s Hospital.
In March 2022, Ellie was admitted to the Royal Children’s Hospital after suffering from a spinal cord stroke. She spent months in hospital and years as an outpatient. The incredible care, support, and dedication of the RCH team have ensured Ellie’s recovery.
Coco’s Auntie and other family members have been supported by the RCH. Her Aunt says, “while it was incredibly hard at the time, I was always treated with such kindness by every staff member. “I am forever grateful for everything they did.”
These experiences and stories are what inspired us to sign up. We truly believe that every child deserves the best medical care and the chance to grow, play and experience all the fun opportunities life has to offer

For 2026 we are hoping to go even bigger and push beyond our goals!
We are running as Team ELLIE & COCO RIPPLE and would absolutely love for everyone to join our team by taking part in the run, or by donating if you can.
Together, we can create a real RIPPLE of POSITIVE change and support the amazing work of the Royal Children’s Hospital 🩷.
