Read, Read and Raised - The Story Behind
Saturday 28th Feb Hello Friends and Family,Every year for 26 (nearly 27) years, my family have been donating to the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, and every year I’ve wanted to do something special, but could never quite put my finger on exactly what to do, until it came to me after having my own child. I thought why not do something we can both do together - read!
Then came the idea of Read, Read and Raised. With every book read, we’ve put aside a dollar to donate.
Beginning at the end of last years (2025) Good Friday Appeal, we have read numerous books between the two of us, with many having been read repeatedly!
So please join us on this journey, as we continue to dive deep into our stories and get lost amongst the pages and discover how many books we can read in a year (you would be amazed).
You can support us in our challenge by simply following along with our journey and / or donating towards our fundraiser.
