Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics Centre will be conducting a Relaython on Saturday 1st March from 7am-12noon, to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Relaython is Little Athletics Victoria’s major fundraiser for the Royal Children’s Hospital, and since 1972 Centres across the state have raised well over $1 million.
The challenge for athletes and members is to keep the baton moving around the inside of the track non-stop from 7am to 12 noon.
Under 13-17 athletes will run the earlier session 7am – 8.30am. Other athletes are welcome to participate in the early session, although all Under 6-12 age groups will run at a designated time during the regular morning competition (program 2).
Runners can run as many times as they like. There will be change-over stations at 100m marks..
