Good Friday Appeal 2025

Help kids bee brave!

I’m donating 100% of profits from my business, Bee Brave Cards, to the Good Friday Appeal to support The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH).

I started Bee Brave Cards in 2022 while I was a long-term patient on Kookaburra, the oncology ward at the RCH.

I’ve been part of the Children’s Cancer Centre at the RCH since May 2019. Each year, the centre cares for around 300 newly diagnosed kids and teenagers, along with those receiving ongoing treatment and follow-up care.

Most of the kids I’ve met at the Children’s Cancer Centre never imagined they’d need to go to the RCH—until cancer barged into their lives. I sure didn’t.

Beyond oncology, I’ve also been treated by many incredible teams at the RCH, including surgery, PICU, haematology, emergency, pain team, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, allied health, hospital in the home, pharmacy, medical imaging, the education institute, and many more.

The RCH is an amazing hospital, but with your help, we can make it even better! Every purchase from my Etsy store contributes to my fundraising goal, with 100% of profits going directly to the Good Friday Appeal.

I‘ve created this page because I want to make a difference to the lives of sick kids.

The Good Friday Appeal relies on the support of the community to raise funds to ensure that The Royal Children's Hospital is able to continue to provide world class care to patients and their families. From 2022 to 2023 at The Royal Children's Hospital: 90,260 patients presented to the Emergency Department, 50,345 children and young people were admitted to a ward, 407,563 children and young people attended an outpatient appointment, and 14,963 patients underwent surgery. So please help by giving whatever you are able to this fundraiser and help spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family and networks. Thank you for your generosity, it means a lot!
