Baw Baw Runners Good Friday Run

Good Friday Appeal 2024

We have created this page to help fundraise and change the lives of sick kids whilst also promoting an active and community based lifestyle.

For the fouth year running the Baw Baw Runners will host a run at the Rokeby Recreation Reserve in order to raise money for the Yarragon Good Friday Appeal on 29th March 2024. The run will be along the rail trail from Rokeby to Neerim South. There will be a 28km run, an 18km run, a 10km run/walk, a 6km run/walk and a 2km kids run on offer for Participants. All money raised will be donated directly to the Yarragon Good Friday Appeal. There will also be a number of children’s activities and food and coffee van's on site.

I‘ve created this page because I want to make a difference to the lives of sick kids.

The Good Friday Appeal relies on the support of the community to raise funds to ensure that The Royal Children's Hospital is able to continue to provide world class care to patients and their families. From 2022 to 2023 at The Royal Children's Hospital: 90,260 patients presented to the Emergency Department, 50,345 children and young people were admitted to a ward, 407,563 children and young people attended an outpatient appointment, and 14,963 patients underwent surgery. So please help by giving whatever you are able to this fundraiser and help spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family and networks.
