Every year the Good Friday Appeal reminds us just how many families rely on the Royal Children’s Hospital during the hardest moments of their lives. Behind every donation is a child who needs care, a family hoping for answers, and doctors and nurses doing everything they can to help.
This year we wanted to do something small as a community to help make a difference.
Local businesses along Hoffmans Road and surrounding areas have come together to donate vouchers, products and prizes so we can run a community raffle, with every dollar donated through this page going directly to the Good Friday Appeal.
When you donate, you’ll automatically be entered into the raffle draw:
$5 = 1 entry
$10 = 3 entries
$20 = 8 entries
On Good Friday we’ll draw three prizes, including a major prize made up of generous vouchers and gifts from local businesses, along with two additional prize packs.
We’ll also be hosting a small community event at Mister Hoffman Cafe on Good Friday with face painting, Easter bunnies and a few activities for families, with all proceeds from the day also going directly to the appeal.
While the raffle prizes are a fun way to get the community involved, the real reason behind this fundraiser is much bigger. The Royal Children’s Hospital supports thousands of children and families every year, many of whom are facing the most difficult time of their lives.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount can make a real difference. Together as a community, we’re hoping to raise as much as we can to support the children and families who need it most.
