The Victorian greyhound racing industry has been a proud supporter of The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal for many years, raising over $457,000 to help provide world class care for sick kids and their families.

In 2026, throughout the month of March and culminating on Good Friday, Victorian greyhound racing clubs will host a range of events and activities in their local communities to raise much-needed funds, including:

Accepting gold coin donations
Hosting dedicated charity race nights
Donating proceeds from food and beverage sales
Holding Easter Family Days, with Easter Egg hunts and kids’ activities
Donating proceeds from raffles, auctions and bingo/pool/darts nights

Greyhound Racing Victoria will then match the total amount raised by clubs dollar-for-dollar.
