Isak's Dash for Cash 2025
Isak Ketsakidis was a patient in The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) when he was 2 years old, 48 years ago, when he was treated for Hydrocephalus. Isak had further surgery when he was 4 years old. From then until he was 17 years old he was an outpatient having regular check ups at the RCH. Isak says he owes his life to the RCH and everyone who treated and supported him.
To thank all of those involved, Isak has successfully fundraised many times in the past and now in 2025 he has created a new Challenge - The Dash for Cash.
From the 5th-11th of April 2025 Isak will be running laps from Stawell to Melbourne with groups of regional children from various athletic clubs, the community and regional towns. Taking 7 days to travel the 240 kms, Isaks hopes to raise $20,000 for sick kids and their families at the RCH.
Isak's dream is to support as many families and patients who, like him have been looked after by The Royal Children's Hospital.
Isak will finish his challenge in Melbourne surrounded by supporters to cheer on this mammoth effort.
