Isak Ketsakidis was a patient in The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) when he was 2 years old - 48 years ago when he was treated for Hydrocephalus.  Isak had further surgery when he was 4 years old.  From then until he was 17 years old we was an outpatient having regular check ups at the RCH.  Isak says he owes his life to the RCH and everyone who treated and supported him.

To thank all of those involved, Isak has successfully fundraised many times in the past and now in 2025 he has created a new Challenge - the Dash for Cash. 

In April 2025 Isak will be running from Stawell to Melbourne with groups of regional children from various athletic clubs, the community and regional towns.  Taking four days to travel the 240 kms, Isaks hopes to raise $50,000 for sick kids and their families at the RCH.  Isak's dream is to support as many families and patients who, like him have been part of the RCH.

Isak will be ending his run at the Good Friday Appeal Kids Day Out at the MCEC, surrounded by supporters from the general public, fellow runners, and GFA recipients to cheer on this mammoth effort.
