I‘ve created this page because I want to make a difference to the lives of sick kids.
I'm participating in the iCAN Challenge 2025!
On Tuesday the 1st of April, Elisabeth Murdoch College, Langwarrin Primary School, Woodlands Primary School, Langwarrin Park Primary School and Pearcedale Primary School will be holding an amazing school community event with participants walking 50km in one day from St Kilda to Frankston. The walk will be along the beach the entire way and we will finish with the last few steps across the finish line celebrated by family, friends and the school community. To participate each individual has the goal of raising $500 for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. As a community we are hoping to raise $200,000.
The Good Friday Appeal relies on the support of the community to raise funds to ensure that The Royal Children's Hospital is able to continue to provide world class care to patients and their families. In 2023, The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) continued to provide world class care for sick kids and their families. In that time, over 90,000 patients presented to the emergency department, nearly 15,000 surgeries were performed, over 50,000 children were admitted to the wards, with nearly 530,000 outpatient or telehealth appointments made. The RCH is committed helping kids live their best possible lives and reach their potential. So please help by giving whatever you are able to this fundraiser and help spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family and networks.

Monday 31st MarJimmy’s Big iCan Challenge: Walking for a Good Cause
Hey everyone!
I’m Jimmy, and tomorrow I’m taking part in the iCan Challenge! I’ll be walking 25 kilometers to raise money for the Good Friday Appeal. The money I raise will help sick kids and their families, and I’m really excited to do my part to help.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been training for the challenge with my mates from school. We’ve been walking together, getting our legs ready for the big day. I’ve also been doing lots of soccer training to make sure I’m in the best shape possible. My legs are getting pretty tired, but I’m not giving up! The thought of crossing the finish line with my friends makes me feel so proud.
I’m so grateful to everyone who’s already donated and supported me! If you want to help too, you can donate to my page. Every little bit helps and means so much!
Thanks for all your support, and I can’t wait to share how it goes after I finish!
Let’s do this!
