Chayla Goes for a Long Walk…

Wantirna College iCan Challenge 2026

Help me reach my goal of $1,500

I’m participating in the iCAN Challenge 2026!

I will be walking alongside colleagues, students and families from Wantirna College on April 1st (no joke) to raise money for The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.  

This school community event will see participants walking 50km in one day from Catani Gardens to Frankston! 

The last few steps across the finish line will be celebrated with family, friends and the school community. 

I am so excited to be supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital, and am so proud to be a part of the Wantirna College Community! 

Our goal is to raise $100,000! So, anything you are able to donate however big or small is very much appreciated!

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported and sponsored me so far! 

I am both very excited and VERY nervous for this really long walk on Wednesday… but I am doing my best to keep optimistic and pump myself up! 

I’ve got to be honest, as we ramp up to the end of the school term, I have let my walking practice over the last week slide… but don’t worry! I’ve got my snack prep on the way, my active wear and compression socks are ready to go, my shoes are broken in and super comfy, and I’ve lots of sunscreen and strapping tape!
