Easter Picnic - Sunday March 17

Good Friday Appeal 2024

I can't believe it will be 16 years this Easter since Aidan had his heart surgery. When we were made aware of how amazing and essential this hospital is and how lucky we are to have it in our own home state. Aidan is now 'too old' for the children's hospital. We have been moved on to an adult setting and already see a difference in attention between the two making us realise more how lucky we were when he was a baby.

 So our annual picnic is us doing our part to ensure future children and their parents will also get the extra care they need during what can be a very scary stressful time. 

 We currently have family going through this right now with their young son. Sending all our love to you. 

 So please join us on Sunday the 13th of March and give your support to this very worthy cause. May you never need to use it yourselves.

I‘ve created this page because I want to make a difference to the lives of sick kids.

The Good Friday Appeal relies on the support of the community to raise funds to ensure that The Royal Children's Hospital is able to continue to provide world class care to patients and their families. From 2022 to 2023 at The Royal Children's Hospital: 90,260 patients presented to the Emergency Department, 50,345 children and young people were admitted to a ward, 407,563 children and young people attended an outpatient appointment, and 14,963 patients underwent surgery. So please help by giving whatever you are able to this fundraiser and help spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family and networks. Hi All,

Sorry for the late notice.  Easter has crept up on us being so early this year and Elissa has a soccer tournament the weekend before Good Friday so we had to make it 2 weekends before.

When:  Sunday 17th March 10:00 onwards

Where:  TIRHATUAN PARK

There will be an Easter egg hunt for the kids and tea/coffee for adults.
