Herald Sun/CityLink Run for the Kids 2009 has now finished

05 Apr 2009

The 2009 Herald Sun/Citylink Run for the Kids is a unique running event that raises money for a wonderful cause, The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. In the 14.1km course, participants are given the rare opportunity to run on Melbourne's inner-city streets, through the Domain Tunnel, along the usually hectic Westgate Freeway, over the Bolte Bridge – featuring spectacular views of the city skyline – and along the waterfront at Docklands. The shorter 5.7km course takes in some of Melbourne’s famous landmarks such as the Yarra River, Birrarung Marr, Federation Square, and the Botanic Gardens. WIN A $500 NIKE+ RUNNING PACK If you’ve signed up to be a sponsored runner in the 2009 Herald Sun/Citylink Run for the Kids and you’re raising money as an individual, then you have the chance to win a $500 Nike+ prize pack.
